Long Range Planner II/Associate Planner (2023-present)

Responsibilities include:

• Project managing for neighborhoods, community, area plans, and corridor plans.

• Designing floodplain public spaces

• Grant writing

• Organizing workshops to increase community engagement in the projects.

• Developing landscape, streetscape, and urban design proposals

• Developing goals/objectives for projects, along with implementation strategies, and writing/designing the final product.

Urban Designer and Planner (2016-2018)

Included the revitalization of the historical, and disadvantaged parts of the city of Qom in terms of social, physical, and economic factors using social participation, and designing the historical nodes and corridors of the city to improve the place identity, tourism, and local economy. The projects helped communities manage and participate in the planning and designing of proposed projects

Urban Designer (2015-2016)

The projects included analyzing and designing the urban landscape and sidewalks, analyzing the implemented projects and their socio-economic impacts, and evaluating residents’ perceptions of the projects.
